What is JPEG?

The Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) is formally a working group (WG1) under the ISO/IEC Joint Technical Committee1 (JTC1).

How do I get my item registered?

You need to submit all the necessary information for your item to be registered by creating an account in the JPSEC RA.
When your submission has been verified by the JPSEC RA, it will be sent to the supervision department of the JPSEC RA for further evaluation.

What are security methods in the JPSEC RA?

A number of security methods are defined in JPSEC specifications. As an example, here is the current list of item types:

  • Digital signature

  • Encryption, including scrambling
